Integrative Child Coaching, Counseling and Therapy
Integrative Child Coaching, Counseling, and Therapy is a short-term process of about 5 to 15 sessions, each lasting one hour. Every child is unique, and so the guidance is always tailored to your child’s individual needs — with the focus on strengthening their own power and supporting their growth.
Before we start, I will send you a questionnaire. This helps me gain a clear picture of your child and their situation during the intake session. Parents and caregivers are an important source of support and play a vital role in this process. Through our conversations, a deeper and stronger connection between you and your child can develop.
I meet with your child once a week for an hour. Together we explore both internal and external resources, look at how your child may be maintaining certain problems, and discover which solutions they may already have tried. Based on your child’s unique inner structure, I adjust my guidance — with your child as the compass. I encourage your child’s imagination and natural self-healing abilities.
Through play, children have the space to express their inner feelings and social experiences. Using materials, metaphors, images, and play techniques, I gently guide the process so your child can discover the solutions that fit best in their world. Where they may feel stuck, movement and growth can re-emerge.
After about five sessions, we schedule a review or concluding meeting. I share feedback about the process and, if you wish, provide practical tips and tools for you as parents or caregivers. Together we then decide whether additional sessions are needed.
